It's this gargantuan conglomerate in Europe.
I wondered (Because I wonder stuff sometimes) if "Fidelity Investments" and their kind-of hot CEO had any interest in LVMH.
Beeeeeeeeeecause, if you play the "Who owns" game, you eventually find God at the top, owning everything everywhere.

I'll just say here that they look respectable and don't have outrageous prices.
The whole "Zenith"-thing was an answer to a question "Who makes the most accurate watch,"
but maybe I *should* have asked "Who makes the most accurate affordable watch"
And Pontius Pilate / Caligula might reply, "What is Affordable?"

In writing this and looking for a synonym for "Austerity" I came across a word "Abstemious," which is austere for the very, very (extremely) wealthy, apparently, because looking for abstemious watches comes across $185,000 watches on eBay, and a few on Google you wouldn't recognize (they are too rare)
I'll try to post a picture of one of the abstemious watches. (The pics change and I haven't found the exact one (no wait, I finally FOUND it, what to give your girl on (uh) her promotion to global manager of the world )
"Abstemious" is snarky for Caligulas being extra-Caligula.

But this more expensive model looks more like a watch. It also has a nicer name ("Space pirate")
This last entry is the single most expensive watch I've seen so far. It falls under the googled-heading of "Abstemious wristwatch" and costs more than a house in a middle-class neighborhood.
It embodies abstemiousness.
A website wonders what a really high-up general is wearing as a watch.
This general (any general) probably wears different watches in the field.
This watch he's wearing, whatever it is, might be a commemorative watch given to him at some dinner.

The most boring video in the freaking *world* lists Tissot as their #1 choice in watches "under $500" but I seriously need a better representative video.
I played it at 2x, skipped over parts, so I don't really know what he said...Once I heard "Tissot" I stopped.
Yeah, OK.
Bottom line, (so far,) swiss watches to look at would be from the Swatch group, and Tissot.

I guess it's time I stopped being snarky and realized that automatic watches help keep a watch going, but in the end it's you winding it periodically that does the most good.
The more automatic, the less the winding (I guess)
