And here I was ready to blame Tariffs.
It isn't available on Amazon anymore (otg) so I wanted to try this.
Unfortunately there is no data anywhere blaming this on static electricity or how long this fix works.
The enormous amount of Useless generic info on google could fill a large book (probably does) but whatever the reason, it worked (for now)
I don't know if this is related, but I'm bringing it up anyway.
I found the latest bluetooth driver and installed it here.
I still needed a way to test it, and I decided to play it on my phone.
BIGgie mistake. I had to sell my soul to satan and turn on internet access (access to what???)
And I still don't know if bluetooth really works; They'd rather use internet.
I spent a few annoying minutes connecting/disconnecting/connecting again.
Do you all go through this?
I swear I've got some moldy headphones around that use bluetooth, I just can't remember where.

Stuff worked, but using the internet is cheating and an invasion of privacy. They just can't stand you doing anything "offline"
I'm writing this still wondering if Bluetooth works correctly
(what is with all the "Connect-disconnects?")
I noticed that the headphones didn't require any special tricks and connected instantly.
A really nice person has a free equalizer for them too! "Peter Verbeek," it says.
If I want a picture from my phone, I plug in a USB cable and copy it over,
not give permission to make calls and read contacts and send it out over the internet...
Something is way wrong with their logic.
But then again, for the convenience of not using that usb cable, I should also be able to copy files using bluetooth (I've given up on streaming sound to a phone.)

I am pretty sure the bluetooth-part of my phone is willing, but people say I need an "App" which seems wasteful.
If the app needs wifi as well, and internet access, it seems pointless.

WUT?? No!
F*ck, something so simple, made complicated.
