I thought I had lost my little Crescent wrench, the one I bought when I got married.
(Strange sentence, I know)
So sad.
But no, it was under a large package containing a plumbing tool I also never use except when I reeeelly need it, like last week.
actually, (ahem), um, wrenches tend to want to be used in sets, for lotsa reasons, and I usually just use cheap pliers.
WHAT do people buy???
Crescent ("I used to like them before they moved to China")
Bahco ("They've gone downhill, no quality control, it arrived scratched")
or
Channellock (From a review site)
My little crescent was maybe $5 bucks, or cheaper, I don't remember.
This was $20.
But it has a gauge!
It's called "Wide-Azz!" (I don't know jack about supply-chains...would the regular model have gotten here faster?)
I wanted corn chips!
Buying nice stuff means people want to use it, to borrow it, never to be seen on the face of the earth ever again....my giant pliers met their end that way.
I promised myself to never lend these out, although I am not hopeful.
(and a drill!)
If you've read this far, you deserve an award, so check around the dumpster today or tomorrow, I'm throwing away my Dyson.
Somebody with the $$ and a few tools could prolly replace the little hose.
Taking inventory, I see my drill (the replacement one, for the sink-hole) is still there.
I couldn't buy it anymore, it's unavailable.
Anyway I wondered why it said "Type 2" on it.
Apparently there is a small list.
Type 1 is a generic "Drill", and "Type 2" could be a hammer drill,
