tariffs

Reading the financial pages on the internet is a little like learning a language that a person almost understands. Here:  read this. It's murky, but it looks less biased.

Investment companies want you to invest, mostly in them, so (I think) they're biased.

My Bias before I start this: I believe Trump wants a weaker dollar.
The immediate benefits of weaker dollars would be owners of large tourist traps.

A foreign national might be able to spend a few less dollars of his native currency to maybe visit Disneyworld.

Well, as long as Apple is happy...

( the link above is owned by disney and all nice pictures are upfronted by commercials....)
Life will suck (duh) but someone somewhere benefits, or why the bullshit?
I can dream up all sorts of possible schemes by this think-tank or that church, but nothing stands out that I can quote from, yet.

It's been a myth since forever, other countries are poorer than the US.
OTOH tourists seem better off (don't they?)
There's this RTG-guy on PBS checking out every nook and cranny of Europe. He waxes on for long minutes on a painting, a statue, a hillside.
If his show bored to tears, what must the real thing be like, after all the security checks and crowded hotels and missed planes?? (Tourism is overrated??

There are, in theory, plans to build refrigerators and Microwaves here in the US because (in theory) they would be too expensive to buy from anywhere else.

yeahbutt couldn't they build their own amusement parks, ignoring us?

They already build their own microwaves and refrigerators,
I am Missing tons. Tweak the crap out of *anything* and you're liable to break it.
Unless that's his goal.

If inflation hits, unrestful unemployed, at some time in the future, it'll be the
(future administration's) fault.
It's like some magical "Poison pill" and no, I don't know what a poison pill is.
"Only HE can fix what HE has broken" is a quote from my game. It fits.

Bloggy stuff:
The news says, republicans are against mRNA vaccines.
I don't know what mRNA is, but they're convinced it's bad.
The original train of thought was about Bird flu and how we should stop killing birds, because
(I missed the "Because" part)
They want to pass a law that makes mRNA vaccines illegal for everyone.
OK three issues I'm unfamiliar with , Tariffs, Vaccines and bird-flu management.
The manifesto or whatever will have to be summarized so's I can digest it.
Weaker dollar props up credit??
Making stuff illegal frees up Medicare?
If we no longer kill birds, less for the USDA to do?
If we're too sick to care, they can pass laws more easily??
