A box full of goodies is gone.
I have a terrible memory so I don't remember exactly what was in the box.
Blood pressure meter
3/8 socket set
A new box of 13-gallon trash-bags (100 or so)
----
outside the box
Torchiere floor lamp was broken (I bought a new one)
The socket set I replaced with a new set
The bathtub soap tray has a chunk missing (something real heavy must've hit it)
My 10-inch wall clock is gone
All the fire alarms are gone.
My laundry close to the TV was very moldy and needed to be thrown away. Maybe 20lbs of clothes.
I will prolly never see the missing stuff again,
My toilet never leaked before and I don't use any chemicals in the tank, for fear of messing up the "Flapper" (drain-plug) but now the flapper was warped and had blue scum on it, so I bought a couple flappers ($20) and installed one.
Summary:
Missing items after paintjob:
Fire detectors
"OMRON Platinum Blood Pressure Monitor" $84+tax
The replaced socket set was $45 or so
The replaced Trash bags, $20
The replaced Lamp, $26
The clock was replaced @ $10
----------
I keep waiting for some guy to show up and say where they stuck the missing box.
They had the nerve to use my address to receive bills, I got one and sent it back unopened.

Well hope springs eternal, right?
Parenthetically, no one is monitoring my blood pressure, and if *I* ever did, I'd pay more for the model that also has EKG, $163, although the EKG in the commercial on TV looks nice too, $79.

PPSS Apparently my kidneys are dying a quick death, or the lab screwed up.
I'll edit this soon.

Send the bills away from me,
Do not hound my soul for eternity.
My estate is money free.
Did I mention that disease is profitable? Meters, equipment, but I'm not here to rant, only to suddenly window-shop for a disease-meter I only found out about today.
| I like "Facelake", and the one for over twice as much looks nice too. But let's be real, "$265"?? |
O well.
The problem (as I see it) is, your kidneys don't wait 3 months to change (good or bad)
and a meter would be nice.
I will keep looking.
