Yeah. (wut?)
I know less than Jack about British history, and what little I know is from American Movies.
Well, I dispute a scene in One particular movie, the part where "Edward I" ("Longshanks")
is laying in bed with a bad cold.
We can assume (from the movie) that Longshanks had lost all ability to write notes, wave his hands, make funny eye movements. And his kid Edward II close by, had no way of interpreting the king's bad coughs after his daughter-in-law had a few words.

Apparently the "weakling" Edward II ruled after his father for nearly 20 years, but nobody liked him and eventually he ran away from home.
Isabella his wife would (if you're following the movie) have had a 20-year-old son.

But this makes little sense.
He would have been old enough to take over for his father, (the weakling Edward II) if all that was true.
