Words to look up/know at parties:
"Surfectant" (aka, soap)
"Emulsion"(aka,???)
so let's totally *imagine* until I can fortify this with stuffy articles,
that a chemical that looks a lot like soap-bubbles, contains genes (Technically, "Messenger RNA") that gets shot into a person's arm. But the bubble is fragile and can pop easily.
I don't understand the "cold" part yet, what needs to be cold, the soap-bubble? And, isn't the tiny amount of liquid in the syringe already too warm by the time it reaches your arm? And, people who hijack trucks to get the valuable stuff into poor neighborhoods, they don't have decent enough freezers (right?) and most of the stuff that gets sent out will be useless because of the lack of freezers?

We're not talking freezers on sale at Best-Buy, these guys have to be super-cold, colder than anything CVS or Rite-Aid probably have.
So, what's up with the freezers?
No one talks about them, are we gonna rely on the Dry-Ice in the box?
And if you wait a month to see that no one dies or gets real sick, won't you just be damning yourself to getting a stale, dead, *useless* vaccine???
I'm being told by google that "Surfectant" is wrong, "SurfActant" is the word I want to use (it says).
OK Now I don't really know what a "Surfactant" is, how could I have misread it all these years? Whatever.
Emulsion=Oil+water combined by surfactants (right?)
I said that to the pretty chemist in my mind, let's hope she was virtually impressed (not looking at her watch to see what was taking her fireman-boyfriend so long to get there)
You know you're old when you don't understand half the language anymore:
■ Extension notes: You should use herbicide adjuvants | Preston Citizen | hjnews.com (whut?) See, now I'd have said, "stick some dishwashing liquid into your bug/plant spray" |
A vaccine-protester was carrying a sign protesting "Thimerosal" (a vaccine-adjuvant) in vaccines.
Apparently "Thimerosal" does bad stuff to some people, it's too big a subject to go into, Actually I just wanna eat dinner now, but maybe it's worth googling.
(*Which* emulsive, uh, surfactants are used in the new vaccines?)
