Labyrinthian, a train

 Notes, just notes

With practice and years of meditation, you too can see this selection.

Oh, you want to "Search" for it, do you?
Actually before I started to write this, I *did* do a search and came up with nice internet solutions,
Six-steps to how an windows-veteran would find it. (The search should have just shown me where it *was*, not wax bombastic)

https://www.npr.org/2021/07/20/1018283149/china-blames-united-states-for-cyberattacks

Oddly timed articles considering Microsoft is releasing windows 11 and windows 365.

The video winks at spying but says "China" has gone beyond acceptable limits in polite society.

It's being rude.

Meanwhile (the article points out) Companies like Apple and Tesla collect massive amounts of data on consumers, and it isn't spying, no-no, but they promise to localize China's data to China.

You can surveil til kingdom come and be admired, but when you spy on the spies, umbrage occurs.

---------

You have a kid who wants to use your PC on a regular basis, and you aren't there to always insert passwords...
OK what about the fingerprint reader (it thinks it's a "security key" but whatever)
This actually works for the afternoon you're there to answer questions, but the next day you'll need to fight fires or fend off the press or whatever TV-shows think you do...

The kid tries their fingerprint, once, twice, and then is asked for a PIN.
But this kid is smart and shuts down the PC (to reset it).
But no, the PC will have none of that, it's stuck on PIN because it has ruled out fingerprints forever (until someone logs on)

Labyrinthian menus that can't be searched for easily; Fingerprint readers windows doesn't trust.
Feedback?! BAH! They'd expel me from their little society.

False hallway with dead-end in the labyrinth:

False Rinth in the Laby

We are Legion!(something clever I haven't thought up yet)

appendix, addendum, additional folderol

VM=Virtual-machine=fake PC=Toy for geeks

And if you're running a VM (because, why not) and you want to *PASTE* to a VM, the old guys sputter and mumble stuff about outrageous and isn't done,

Younger guys will blather on about technicalities....Still others will hawk their particular Brand of VM and how easy it is to paste stuff.
It ain't easy, not here.
It occurs to me that using an online-whatever could help.

That whole "USB-Stick" is too faux-pas, too gauche, too unseemly (It didn't work)

I had more but it's too silly and depressing.
It's like if your house was ripped away by a storm, and someone blogs about the cat being OK, what's the point?
I could afford a better biometric, possibly a down-home retail-copy of windows, but no way am I going to get a decent card soon.
 I spend when I'm depressed...
Freebie sucking websites promise lower prices.
Well here, you read it.

out of touch  with reality (but less than 4000, so I guess to them, prices are lower)
