This might not look right...a few microvolts either way shouldn't make a difference, right?
I can't change "Core SOC" to an exact amount, it's like steering a biggie boat in a tiny river.
I propose, it disposes.

...is the cpu and the videocard more comfortable now, or will they keep hitting their heads on the ceiling??
Wait, I'll keep testing (And edit the crap outta this later)
vicissitudes:
In other words, very close to the speed at the original voltage.
The fans seem quieter, I don't know.

some guy said vddp should be 0.5 lower than soc, or, 0.9 and the soc 0.95, but I got disappointing results, so I raised the soc to 0.97.
Now this contradicts everything I wrote about 1.092 soc, but I'll edit this in the morning. You'd think BIOS writers would tighten up some limits...
Not great but not bad |
The graphics and the cpu scores don't really mesh, one can be fast and the other slightly slower.
But since the overall score is what everyone looks at, uhm, hmm
Final (maybe) SOC is 0.98 or as close as I can get to it, and VDDP is 0.93.
And ten minutes after writing that, it rebooted spontaneously while playing a game (it never does that, wtf?)
So maybe this or that, I fudged some figures and came up with what I think'll work, and I can always edit this.
Right after I wrote this AMD decided to take a day off and set everything to "default" which royally pissed off the card, and my faith in the above settings was dashed. But Once I thought to actually check AMD's Adrenalin, I realized with a sheepish grin that maybe my settings were all right after all.
