So I'm looking at a new utility that can identify who is on my network.
My Pixel 7 is hooked to an ethernet-adapter and the utility doesn't see the pixel, instead it sees "Dongguan Kingtron."
At first I thought it was a neighbor and I had encroached upon his network, or maybe he snuck into mine...
No it's an OEM company.
the site I like has a nice headline but after that it gets tedious, but you have to put your imagination to work to see this poor guy buying crap for his apple product:

There are prolly ways to investigate my network further, but I have not found them.
This utility doesn't do a whole lot.
But I'm glad I found the page and who Dongguan is.
I'm still looking for a utility, of course.
Maybe they look at porn too, did you drill the hole in the wall large enough for screenshots??
Wait...
so OK, "2401" is really 160,2x2 Not knowing math is terrible |
The only assumption I'm making at this point is,
That my phone
and The adapter
use 2x2 antennas.

I'd launch a different investigation into the PCI_E card slot system on my PC but it would be like auditing a quantum physics class, So much passes over my head.
But I can bottom-line it, sort of.
Forever and a day before, I thought that the PCIE bus handled itself automatically using things like Lanes and clocks. The teeny slots were for add-on cards.
Well, I was wrong.
The addon card slot in my PC is called "E3," it's the third slot away from the middle of the board, where the CPU is.
I'm only supposed to use it for Addon cards (Like my Wifi.)
I'm not sure why.
And I must specify the lanes it uses.
This I didn't know, I barely understand it.
"Auto" on the "E3" slot is totally unacceptable, and I must set it to
4x4x4x4 (God only knows why.)
If I'm wrong, the game will continue to crash, and my secretary will disavow any knowledge.
I almost forgot the BIOS setting buried under deep ...arcaneness
"OC (Overclocking)/Advanced/CPU Configuration/AMD CBS"
Or the PC freezes after long BM's
I should really write this stuff down (hmm) |
I've disabled efficiency mode. |
- PCIE-E3 (4x4x4etc, not "auto")
- "efficiency"-Off (in Edge)
- Power supply ("Typical", not "Low" nor "auto")
