My search history (the stuff I can *See* anyway)

 I'm editing in two Pain-in-the-ass things. 

ONE is my search history, the other is blocked policies preventing driver updates.

Ostensibly (mostly for show,) I can disable One-drive, the hoover that vacuums up all my files and searches and conversations.

Did I recently write to my uncle the chinese functionary or the mexican assistant?

Someone somewhere definitely knows.
But I can delete my search history, and my emails, ostensibly.
(for show, for appearance sake)

It's all a crock but I must play along, know my part.

The third thing maybe is this overeager editor sticking in HTML with wild abandon.
Formatting where there should be none. 

There's this mysterious policy preventing me from installing updates, not that I asked or anything.

It's a note that gets grumbled to me by the "event viewer".

If stuff is prudent, if stuff is by design,

My fingerprint reader could not load its driver (because the driver wasn't ready to be loaded)

It reminds me of a permanently pissed off cleaning lady in a housecoat, hired to empty the trashcans, pretend to dust, and record any juicy info to anyone asking.

I don't use "Hello for business" and windows-event viewer rubs it in every chance it gets.

I tried long ago (months) to remove "hello for business," 

and it finally bit me in the butt.

So in gpedit I changed "Disabled" to "Not configured".

It worked, or maybe the microsoft-tech finally showed up for work to reset their server, IDK.

Either way, it decided to work OK again.

Kb5050009 is already installed, but kb5050094 won't install, for whatever reason.

and they knew this, and could have enabled it or notified me, but the kids
working there don't know or care much.

An important fact maybe, is that the download from Microsoft is incredibly slow.

I'd get better results from a 56k modem.

Speedtest says my speed is fine.

I *finally* googled that ".net" (dot-net) has to be enabled, with all its pomps and its works.

THEN it installed.

".net" comes in several versions...I just enabled it all.

Nobody knows...the trouble I've seen...
And anyway they should have said something upfront.
